Lots going on this weekend:
- A reminder that we are lucky enough to have the Saddle & Cycle Club's fireworks show tonight at 9:10pm (time according to Ald. Osterman). Club members and their guests watch from inside the gates at Foster and Marine, but the rest of us can see the show from Margate Park, Osterman Beach, and from neighboring high-rises.
- Due to code violations with the Congress Theater in Logan Square, the Marilyn Manson concert that was scheduled to take place there Friday night has moved to the Riviera Theater instead....
- ....Which will put concertgoers right in the middle of Windy City Ribfest. Starts at 5pm on Friday, and goes until 9pm on Sunday. Lots of music, vendors, music, ribs, music, kids' activities, and more.
- Also starting Friday, the Wavefront Music Festival, featuring over 100 electronic acts. It takes place at Montrose Beach, and starts at noon and goes until 10pm on Sunday. The Ferris Wheel is already up.
