The CTA is being a Grinch by not listening to residents who rely on bus routes it's discontinuing, but at least they're still running the Santa Train. CTA has released the schedule for the trains for this week. This is when the Santa Train comes through Uptown:
- Wednesday, December 12 (schedule):
Southbound on the Red Line, stopping at
Argyle (3:00), Lawrence (3:02), Wilson (3:03) and Sheridan (3:05)
Northbound on the Red Line, stopping at
Sheridan (5:07), Wilson (5:10), Lawrence (5:11) and Argyle (5:13)
- Thursday, December 13 (schedule):
Southbound on the Purple Line, no stops in Uptown.
Passes through between 4:07 (Howard stop) and Belmont stop (4:20)
Northbound on the Purple Line, no stops in Uptown.
Passes through between 5:10 (Belmont stop) and Howard stop (5:25)
- Friday, December 14 (schedule):
Southbound on the Red Line, stopping at
Argyle (3:27), Lawrence (3:29), Wilson (3:30) and Sheridan (3:33)
Northbound on the Red Line, stopping at
Sheridan (5:41), Wilson (5:44), Lawrence (5:45) and Argyle (5:47)
- It will also run on the Red and Purple lines on December 15, 18, 19 and 22, but no exact schedule has been released yet. Check here for updates.
