Outdoor Farmers Market Returns For A Second Year

Considering what a joke the Uptown Farmer's Market was for the years it was outside of Truman, it's good news that it will be returning -- with actual produce! -- for a second year in the Weiss Hospital parking lot at Clarendon and Wilson:

June 23-Oct. 27, 2011 - Every Thursday, 7:30am - 12:30pm
Fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers are just some of the goods that will be sold at the Uptown Farmers Market every Thursday from June 23-October 27.

You can see all the local farmer's markets on Gourmetour. And we've been told that Uptown Farmer's market moved inside for the winter, but it's still going on. So don't wait until June to support it.
