It's Buena Bunnies Time!

BUENA PARK NEIGHBORS (BPN) is pleased to announce the NINTH ANNUAL BUENA BUNNIES event. Yes, the acclaimed Buena Bunnies project is back for its ninth year and you don’t want to miss it! Please join BPN members, neighbors and friends in the Nick’s Uptown pool room on Sunday, March 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Nick’s Uptown is located at 4015 North Sheridan Road.

Bring an empty basket, (or two or three), Easter treats; little stuffed snuggly things and anything else creative that will make your Easter basket one that every bunny (or child) will love. Make sure you bring your own cellophane to hold all the goodies in your basket(s)! Come help us break last year’s record of 90+ baskets!

All of your creations get donated to St Mary of the Lake Church in Buena Park for their annual Easter basket giveaway to the neighborhood children.

One prize will be awarded to the coolest basket in the annual and highly competitive BEST BUENA BUNNIES BASKET CONTEST. We are pleased to announce that this year’s guest judge is the creator of the BUENA BUNNIES project, BPN Vice President, Ellen Feinberg. Ellen is stepping down from the BPN Board after 10 years of service to the Buena Park community.

So be a BUENA BUNNY!!

*The IrishPirate is drinking agin'and heard no such thang. He just figures since apparently the number of people planning to run for Alderman of da 46th Ward is well into two figures he would just throw another name out.

  2. Dearest IP,

As much as I would love to overthrow the current Wasically Wabbit, I, alas, have other incredibly cutsy poo things to do, like stomp on beetles, and rip off butterfly wings. But surely I jest (oops, I just called IP Shirley)

I have unfortunately, already stepped down from the BPN Board to begin my new life as a sex phone operator, and for that reason had to walk briskly away from the bunnies, to protect their rep. Of course I am kidding, but turn about is fair rabbit.... ;)
