A few readers have asked if there's any information about the empty building at 5145 Broadway that most recently was home to the Haitian Church of God. According to a sign out front, it now houses both the "Tabernacle of Praise" and the "Northside Church of God."We don't know the original use of this building, but apparently it was used as a Jewish funeral chapel in the 1940s. If anyone knows any more of its history, pipe right on up.
