But wait, this crime didn't even take place in our ward! Why do we get alerts for crimes in other wards but not for ones in our own?
Better publicity... It looks bad to bring attention to crimes in OUR ward.
Doesn't the ward extend south to Cornelia, from the lake to Halsted?That would put the address within the 46th ward. Specifically, within the 24th precinct of the 46th ward.
Oops, my bad. Mystery man, you're right, I screwed up on that one. The incident did occur in our ward - just barely, but definitely still within the boundaries.
