I noticed a lot of police activity around that building and it's good to see it being renovated.americanlthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15552038341174948310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957537260422450632.post-59049564371970612322015-05-03T08:46:16.764-05:002015-05-03T08:46:16.764-05:00Are you talking about the building with the Wilson...Are you talking about the building with the Wilson Men's Hotel SRO? Or Sylvia's Place homeless shelter? Lofty idea, but perhaps you've forgotten that the City Council decided to prohibit the closure of any more SROs (probably because they prefer to have them in Uptown instead of their own wards), so you'd have to convince all of Cappleman's colleagues to let him replace the piss alley "housing" with bars, restaurants, and coffee shops that they'd like to have in their own wards and take the displaced homeless instead. That's a tall order, but I like your idea.bear60640https://www.blogger.com/profile/04572732440461047198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957537260422450632.post-88019731504569098012015-05-03T04:38:03.888-05:002015-05-03T04:38:03.888-05:00The building across Clifton was bought a while bac...The building across Clifton was bought a while back as well. What's up with that one? That little curved section of Clifton could be really cool if lined with bars/restaurants/shops and closed off to cars. That place could go from piss alley to the place to be before and after shows in the neighborhood or even a place for students to gather and sit around studying in coffee shops during the day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
