I went to the lake most days during the winter and every day experienced so much beauty and took many pictures to capture it. Those days when the lake is frozen and jagged as far as the eye can see, everything is blanketed in white and the sun brilliant in the clear sky are some of the most beautiful days of the year to me. The lake is largely deserted and you really feel the silence and open emptiness of the still landscape. It can be truly meditative and uplifting. Seeing the snowy owls at the Magic Hedge and following the tracks of rabbits in the snow or spotting a coyote. The winter provided many magical moments for me. It's amazing to me that this can be found right in the city. Yes it was cold but that's what warm clothes are for! I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure. As Madonna said "Beauty's where you find it."Plutohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16889731388923735525noreply@blogger.com
