Block clubs, neighborhood associations and the like hold no role in our government. <br />We had a 46th Ward Alderperson who consulted with no one. Alderperson knew best. Then we switched it up for an Alderperson who sought out input. I greatly prefer this method, but claims that Dover St. Neighbors killed the proposal and the like are misleading. <br />"After listening to a variety of opinions, the Alderman made an informed decision" is a suitable conclusion.
