Gobble, Gobble

  1. To the residents of the 4700 block of Kenmore, the police did a great job of ticketing last night. Wish they would of looked at the stickers a little closer. I got a ticket for not having a "residential" sticker much like 20 other cars on the block all if which showed the proper sticker and zone #. I took pictures and went to the 23rd district to report these actions this morning. I will be going back this afternoon to speak with the watch cmdr! Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. WTF? Aren't guest permits supposed to valid for 24 hours past the date and time you mark on them?

Sorry this happened, and on a holiday to boot - hope the rest of your Thanksgiving Day is happier.

  3. We were victims too. What happened? Should we contact them too?

  4. Toucan worst part is I am a resident and have the real sticker!
GJ-I went to the 23rd tonight and funny thing is the officer was working the desk. He jumped up when I asked for the watch cmdr and he noted that yeah he wrote about 20-30 tickets on that street last night. Then I showed him the pictures I took of my sticker as well as 8-10 other cars with sticker and tickets. He apologized and said that he had a call last night about no parking on this street because of the concerts and he came over to write tickets (I was thanful for that!) and he forgot that the city does not have 2 stickers like they had in the past. Just contest the ticket and it will get thrown out (make sure you attach a picture of your sticker). I also had him fill out a "non-suit" which goes up to the commander for signature. I would suggest the same.
