She said it was unclear if the staff will be kept on or not, and that she had been there 20 years (with Dominicks) and was clearly not jazzed about the situation. She said people can write to the alderman and to Whole Foods about in support of keeping on staff if they wanted to, which I will do. I live 3 blocks north (no, not in a high rise, no I am not rich) and I think the area is beautiful. I love living here and I am excited to finally have a Whole Foods in the area. I also happen to work in Englewood. Coming home from work is like coming home from another planet. There is absolutely no comparison between the 2 areas. Given that this store will be almost immediately off LSD, I think it will do fantastic. I used to live in Uptown, so I think I know what you're trying to say, but Uptown has resources, recreation and diversity and Englewood has basically none.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16690567724002733413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957537260422450632.post-72206107546895798902013-11-19T13:54:47.623-06:002013-11-19T13:54:47.623-06:00While I do not shop at Whole Foods, I do like thei...While I do not shop at Whole Foods, I do like their products, especially the meat counter.
