4701 N. Clark Revised After Clark Street Neighbors Feedback

Updated proposal for 4701 N. Clark

The residential development that would replace a vacant, one story bank with drive-thru has been tweaked after feedback from local block club Clark Street Neighbors and Uptown United. The plans are now on Ald. Cappleman's development page.

The majority of the changes are along the top floor of the building, which is now setback from the balconies resulting in changes to the roofline, versus the boxy look of before (below). The ground floor corner entrance is now setback with additional planters. The total unit count has also come down to 37, from 38.

The development will go to the city's Department of Planning & Development for revisions after any further feedback from Clark Street Neighbors and Uptown United. Alderman Cappleman will then make his final decision.

We are excited for the additional density this building will bring to this busy intersection directly across from Chase Park, currently the location of an abandoned building and empty lot.
