Status Check: Broadway & West Sheridan Transformation Continues

A corner of the 46th Ward that has truly undergone a massive transformation is Broadway and West Sheridan. "Viridan on Sheridan" has topped out on a spot that you might remember as the home of a defunct gas station for many years. BJB's rehab of 3838 N. Broadway has been complete for a while now with new retail.

Thanks to an aerial shot from UU reader Carey Wintergreen, we can see the changes.

On the southeast corner, DLG Management's development at 3817-3845 N. Broadway has risen high above the ground now that the underground parking and geothermal heating preparations were completed.
Neighbors will be happy to know that Starbucks will be opening up in the restored "eagles" portion of the building in a MUCH bigger space than they occupied before.
A reminder of what to expect is shown on the right.
