GrowUptown With Peterson Garden Project

Join Peterson Garden Project for an informational meeting on February 19th, 6:30pm-8pm at Heartland Health Center, 845 W. Wilson, to discuss its Uptown "pop-up victory garden" in front of the former Stewart School (4525 N Kenmore).

Representatives from PGP will discuss the timeline for planting (it's possible there will be a small delay due to issues with the city which have already been resolved) and what to expect if you want to become a community gardener.  RSVP here!

"It’s always exciting when we get to add another Pop-up Victory Garden to our program! Unlike established gardens, the first year of a Pop-up Victory Garden sometimes doesn’t follow all the rules in terms of opening day, volunteer needs, and more. This community meeting for the new GrowUptown Garden is your chance to learn more. We’ll share what we know and give everyone a chance to ask questions.

Agenda:
  • How Pop-up Victory Gardens Work
  • Volunteering - Building the Garden
  • Site Development Updates
  • Registration/Membership
  • Orientation

Co-hosted by Alderman Cappleman's Office + Heartland Health Center + Uptown United + NeighborSpace"
