Stewart School Lofts Conversion Gets New Roof

The former Stewart School currently under construction at Broadway & Sunnyside
Morningside Development's conversion of Stewart School into residential lofts continues. The roof, which had seen better days, is now being removed and replaced.

The green space in front of the building has been cleared and is awaiting Peterson Garden Project to take root with a victory garden in 2018.

We are told that the mid-rise planned for the south parcel is getting a much-needed revision and will be presented to Clarendon Park Neighbors soon. Lots of activity to follow here, for sure.

....OH, HAPPY_DAYS!! ;-) ....Thank goodness that, they are revising the plans for that *YOUUGLY_BUILDING* which was first proposed for the south lot of the Graeme Stewart School. ....To see why I'm saying this about the original proposal, go here: https://chicago.curbed.com/2017/11/27/16704364/uptown-development-1030-sunnyside-tod
