Nearly Ready To Roll -- New Street Surfaces Around Wilson Station

It looks like the 4600 block of Broadway is close to being finished with its street repaving, all part of the Wilson Station rehab. Reader JMM says "Let there be stripes!" and sent in these photos taken today.

We can't wait for all the lane shifts and construction rubble to be gone, and it looks like it will be in the next day or so. It will be the first time since 1920s that Broadway will have all lanes open, and be absent the forest of 28 support pillars that used to make it Mr Toad's Wild Ride.
