Major Drug Bust On Argyle, Five People Still Sought On Warrants (Updated)

Good news! The 20th District announced that it has arrested and charged eight people with felonies in "Argyle Takedown," a narcotics enforcement mission. In a statement, the district said that the operation was initiated due to community concerns about drug sales and increased violence in the area on and surrounding Argyle.

Eight people were charged with Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance, most of whom were members of street gangs. The individuals were not named. There were large quantities of cash, drugs, and vehicles seized as part of the operation as well.

There are five warrants outstanding: Leterro McDade, Novel Thomas, Adrian Cash, Taveyon Colon, and Attimeaze Swilley. Please call 9-1-1 or the 20th District if you can help the police locate them.

Nice work!

  1. These people if guilty, are not major drug dealers. Major drug dealers are almost always not charged because they are too powerful to be investigated. This amounts to nothing. Who does most of the cocaine in this country? It isn't these people. The majority of coke heads do not look like these people. This is all for show. It's political for both police and alderman.

  4. Anyone complaining about this doesn't live here. We need more low lifes charged and locked up. Attimeaze Swilley used to live at Malden Arms (4727 N. Malden if anyone is paying attention). She terrorized the block with her drug selling, prostitution, defecating, and screaming in public. She is scum and should have been locked up years ago. Malden Arms knew all of this and still gave her sanctuary. There are others now there that have filled the void. Malden Arms is protecting them (can't screw with their gravy train). We called district 20 and they are relaying to district 19. If you live near Malden Arms watch and listen and call 911 on them. They are selling and using drugs there and are a huge part of the problem in Sheridan Park.

  5. The war on drugs is a monumental disaster in this country. This is exactly what is a problem. These people people need jobs, not prison time. How are they a threat to society by selling a substance that kills even less people than the legal one (cigarettes kill more people in one month than all illegal drugs in one year). It's a sad case to hear this site cheering this type of police activity on. Affordable housing is being destroyed, less homeless shelters and jobs. Is arresting people for drugs to make a buck better for society?
