CTA To Hold Second Community Meeting About New Stations Between Lawrence & Bryn Mawr

As we've been posting for the past few years, the CTA is in the planning stage of a project to completely rebuild the four L stations directly north of Wilson: Lawrence, Argyle, Berwyn and Bryn Mawr. The rebuild will include new tracks, wider platforms, new support structures, ADA-compliant stations, and better lighting and safety features. If this is the first you're hearing about it, you can find a flier with the project overview here.

There will be a second community meeting on Wednesday, November 8th, between 6pm-8pm to gather community feedback on what sorts of housing and businesses residents want to be incorporated into the areas around the project. The meeting will be held at the Edge Theater, 5451 N. Broadway.

The purpose of this meeting is to confirm outcomes of the first round of meetings and provide residents and business owners with an opportunity to:
  • Learn more about the study
  • Review study area planning principles
  • Consider redevelopment site concepts
  • Talk one-on-one with the CTA study team
  • Provide feedback and input on the overall vision for the plan
A PDF document with community feedback from the previous meeting is here.
