Sheridan & Wilson Proposal Gets Chicago Plan Commission Approval

Current rendering of Clayco's 975 W. Wilson development (Forum Studios)
Clayco's transit orient development has been given the OK by the Chicago Plan Commission.

The 12 story development will feature a mix of studios, one and two bedroom rental units on the SE corner of Sheridan and Wilson, formerly the site of El Pollo Loco. There will be 7 onsite affordable units for folks earning $32,340 a year or less and the developer is also paying into the Low Income Housing Trust Fund which will provide off-site units for folks earning $16,150 a year or less.

One more hoop for the project to jump through as it still needs approval by city council and the zoning board.

Update renderings and details on the project can be found on Ald. Cappleman's website.
