Wilson, Broadway Closures For CTA Construction Next Week

As we move into the final seven months of construction of the new Red Line station, the CTA will need to close Broadway and Wilson to vehicular traffic next week:

• "The contractor will be closing down Wilson Avenue from Broadway to Clifton in order to complete utility work for the new station. The closure will begin Monday 6/12/17 at 8am and will be continuous until Friday 6/16/17 at 4pm. At least one sidewalk will always remain open.
• Also, next week, there will be nightly closures of Broadway from Wilson to Leland to install the track steel over Broadway. The closure will be from 7pm to 5am each night, Monday 6/12/17 – Saturday 6/16/17. One sidewalk will always remain open on Broadway. Crews have been instructed to keep noise / lights down as much as possible."
