Eats & Sweets Rebrands as "The Mothership"

When Eats & Sweets opened a smaller version of itself in Uptown a few months ago, the name "Satellite Cafe" made us smile. Now they've gone a step further: Eats & Sweets has rebranded itself as "The Mothership Cafe" effective Monday.

Satellite Cafe will continue to carry on (hint: try the tomato bisque soup!) at 942 West Montrose, next to Ross Dress For Less. You can see the menu here. It's quick bites, delicious pastries, and the lighter side of breakfast and lunch.

The newly named Mothership Cafe, located just west of Uptown at 1636 West Montrose, has longer hours and serves dinner. As part of the rebranding, it has added several menu items, as well as the rollout of a formalized catering menu. It will continue to offer breakfast and lunch options, while expanding dinner choices. You can see the menu here.

Owners Tim Benedict and Margaret McCall have named the corporation overseeing both cafes (with an eye to more in the future?) Intergalactic Cafes, Inc. The website with more information is here.

(And seriously, check out the tomato bisque soup.)
