A reminder that Uptown Saturday Nights, a series of free concerts all over the Uptown area, begins its season tonight! Sidewalk Chalk, a Chicago band getting ready to kick off its summer tour, makes one last local appearance at the Preston Bradley Center (941 W Lawrence) with a show starting at 8pm (doors open at 7pm). According to Uptown United, "Sidewalk Chalk is the evolution of hip-hop, soul and jazz. On Ropeadope Records, this 7-piece band tours internationally, sharing stages with Snarky Puppy, De La Soul, D’Angelo, Questlove and Hiatus Kaiyote."
