Celebrate Earth Day On Saturday At Clarendon Park & In The Sunshine Garden

Come out to Clarendon Park and be part of Earth Day on Saturday, April 23. Join hundreds of volunteers for the Midwest’s biggest effort for spring spruce up at our city parks.  Bring work/garden gloves and lots of energy! We’ll be mulching trees, cleaning winter debris including leaves and other stuff. Earth Day T-shirts will be given to the first 25 volunteers.
  • Clarendon Park, 4501 N Clarendon
  • Saturday, April 23, 9am until noon

Experienced gardeners are also needed for the Sunshine Garden spring clean-up, located adjacent to the park on Clarendon, just south of Wilson.  We’ll be pruning, cleaning leaves and mulching the garden beds.  Bring garden gloves, garden clippers and shearers.
