18th Annual Boo-ena Park Safe Trick-or-Treating Another Success

It was a dark and stormy night, but for the 18th year, ghosts and goblins enjoyed an evening of safe trick-or-treating, thanks to Buena Park Neighbors block club and a host of volunteers. Hundreds of young and adult trick-or-treaters started at Buena Circle Park and headed north and south on Kenmore to gather goodies from participating residents.

BPN's Facebook page says, "The winner of the George Frerak award for best decorated house at last nights Boo-ena Safe Trick or Treating.... 4113 N Kenmore. First time winners but an all out spooky extravaganza! We loved the smoke machine, sound track, grave yard and the big window decorations."

We've put a few photos of what it was like here, but there are many, many more.  Check them out on Flickr.  Thank you to Gene Tenner for once again acting as BPN's photographer.
