Those who've been jonesing for a burrito bowl or chips & guac won't have to wait much longer. A reader in the know tells us that the projected opening date for the Chipotle at 5224 North Broadway is March 29th (pushed back from March 22nd). It is the first store to open in the strip mall that replaced the long-empty Piser Weinstein Funeral Home. It's technically in Edgewater, but just across the street from Uptown's northern border, Foster Avenue. We'll cross the street for Chipotle's menu!
So glad Chipotle is opening up in my area. Finally, that new strip mall really helps that block look alot better.
