Riding the L can be an adventure, but Sunday may be even more weird if you happen to be on a particular southbound Red Line train. Yes, it's the annual No Pants Subway Ride, taking off (in more ways than one) from Loyola around 12:30pm.
If you'd like to participate, more info is here. Frankly, we don't recommend it, particularly on a day when snow is predicted and the high will be 28. Not to mention bare flesh on the CTA's cold plastic seats! But it's been going on forever, and the participants, mostly college kids, seem to have survived just fine so far. If nothing else, it'll give you something to talk about over dinner.
