Free Fitness Week @ Park District To Kick Off 2015


Eat, drink and be merry as 2014 draws to a close.  You have January to get in shape, and you can do so for free between January 2nd and 11th at Chicago Park District Fitness Centers.  The ones in and around Uptown are at
  • Chase Park (4701 N Ashland; open M-F, 8am-9pm; Sa/Su, 8am-4pm)
  • Clarendon Park (4501 N Sunnyside; open M-F, 9am-3pm; 5-9pm; Closed for cleaning 3-5pm; Sa/Su, 9am-4pm)
  • Gill Park (825 W Sheridan; open M-F, 6:30am-9:30pm; Sa/Su, 9am-4:30pm)
  • Margate Park (4921 N Margate; open M-F, 9am-9pm; Sa, 9am-4:30pm; Su, 10am-3:30pm
During the Park District's ten-day "Fitness Week," you get free access to the fitness centers, select fitness classes and lap swim sessions.  More information is here.
