Here's something you don't see very often: the Aragon (1106 W Lawrence) with its marquee stripped down. (Here's how it looks normally.) We came across this scene this morning. The presence of a police car and a truck with a movie logo on it lead us to believe that the grand old theater is being prepared as one of the exteriors in Batman v. Superman, as we mentioned last week. Stay tuned!
The marquee has been replaced! The burnt out bulbs on the Aragon sign have also been replaced, which looks really great from down the road.
