Early Morning Fire On Marine Drive

Around 2:30am, there was a fire at 4900 North Marine in a brick condo building.  According to the CFD, "A STILL AND BOX ALARM AND EMS PLAN 1 FOR THE HIGH RISE FIRE AT 4900 N MARINE DRIVE ON THE ORDERS OF THE 9TH BATTALION."

Readers report a large response, up to 20 fire engines and EMS units responding.  It seems to have affected one unit on the third floor.

According to CBS News, two people were hospitalized for smoke inhalation.  It was all over by 3:05am.
