Army Surplus Store On Broadway Closing

The Army Surplus Store has been a fixture on Broadway for more than 30 years, but the owner(s) are retiring and the store will soon be closing. Signs are up in the windows announcing "Everything Must Go" with bargains of up to 70% off. No word on what is in store for the building at 4647 N. Broadway but a quick look at some of the brickwork that has been covered for years by blue siding shows that a beautiful building is hiding underneath.
4647 N Broadway: Brick and terra cotta have survived suprisingly well under the metal siding

  1. That is a shame. They were always nice when I stopped by. It was nice to have a place for good paintball and halloween accessories.

    1. Huh?

I'm sorry to see this shop close - I've only made four purchases, but alway had great service. Sorry to lose them, sorry to gain an empty storefront, even if it's temporary.
