Wilson/Broadway Shooting Victim Home From Hospital


Brion Payne, who was shot at Wilson and Broadway on April 1st, has been released from the hospital. He gave an interview to CBS Chicago about his ordeal and recovery. It's still unclear just what provoked Joey Jones of Logan Square, the alleged gunman, to shoot Mr. Payne in the back of the head while they waited for Jones' father at the currency exchange. It's amazing that Mr. Payne survived the experience of having a bullet pass through his head. The video and the CBS link are here.
