A reader writes in with a review of "Uptown Produce" at Wilson & Magnolia:"I have made several trips here over the past couple months and their selection has broadened quite a bit. The meat counter has a great selection of very fresh-looking meats and a small selection of seafood for a great price. The product section includes quite an array of things, from tropical and seasonal fruits, to potatoes, to vegetables like asparagus and artichokes. Some of the produce was on its last legs and I perceive this to be because they don't get enough business and can't push it out of its doors before it's over-ripe.
Overall, as an Uptowner I'm super excited about the
affordability and convenience of this place. The owners and staff are
also extremely friendly and have certainly made a great addition to the
neighborhood."
