Get Out There And Vote

It's primary day in Illinois.

Polls are open between 6am and 7pm, and the weather looks to be decent, so get out there and cast your ballot.

If you don't know where to vote, you can find your polling place here.  You can also see the Republican, Democratic and non-partisan sample ballots there as well.

There are some judicial races up for grabs, so you can check out the endorsement for judges at www.VoteForJudges.org, which consolidates the opinions of the various bar associations.

You don't need an ID to vote on Election Day, but it's not a bad idea to bring it with you anyway, just in case your right to vote is challenged.

Reminder:  the poll judges only do this every few years, and quite a few of them are doing it for the first time today, so try to be patient with them if it seems like they're taking a long time to get you through the process.  It's a long day for them, and they'll appreciate patience and a smile.
