Mariano's Looking For Employees

We stopped by the Mariano's hiring center at 5244 N Sheridan (just across the street from the parking structure at the former Dominick's) a couple times to see if we could find out more information about the store conversion, but each time it was closed.  Apparently jobseekers are to apply online only, and we suspect (but don't know for sure) that the hiring center will be used for interviews.  The address to apply online is http://www.marianos.com/apply.

If you're looking for a job there, a flyer in the windows shows 27 different job categories at the Ravenswood/Lawrence location, which Ald. Pawar says will be opening on March 30th.  No such list for the Foster/Sheridan store, but the categories are probably very similar.  Several categories require experienced personnel only, so those may be of particular interest to former Dominick's employees.

Ald. Osterman mentions in his latest newsletter that "I am partnering with Mariano's to host a job fair on Saturday, March 8 at the Admiral on the Lake (929 W. Foster) starting at 9:00am. Save the date and more details to follow."

  1. I've tried many times to apply and neither the Edgewater store nor the Lawrence and Ravenswood store are visible on the site. Wondering if anyone else has had any luck!

    1. Actually, I didn't have luck on the Mariano's website, either. I began the process and ran into an error page twice, apparently an issue on their website. I see they have a job fair on March 8th, so I plan to attend. It's at The Admiral at the Lake from 10 AM to 3 PM.
