This landmark recommendation will be considered at the November 7th Commission on Chicago Landmarks meeting, scheduled for 12:45 pm in City Hall, Room 201-A."
I live just up the street and I think I support the landmark status. Just curious what the end game is. Are we trying to keep Thorek from being able to build on the site and sell it back to a bar owner? Work the building into their long term plans? Or just avoid another empty lot at the corner of Sheridan and IP? No animosity meant hear, just not sure what options are being discussed
