. . . And Bridgeview Bank Starts Breaking Out Of Its Shell

The scaffolding that has surrounded much of the Bridgeview Bank Building has recently been removed.  Well, about 75% of it.  The bank began a three-year restoration project in March 2011, and we're sure at times they thought it would never be finished, but it looks like they're in the home stretch.  We as a community are lucky to have so many beautiful buildings in the Broadway/Lawrence area, and equally lucky that they have owners who have put the time and money into preserving them.

Even the flag has returned to the top of the building.  Looking good, Bridgeview!
