Planting Beauty In Buena Park

Just a couple days after they arrived on Broadway, the SSA #34-sponsored planters were filled with foliage.  They look amazing.  We hope residents keep them litter-free and thriving, as they add so much to improving the streetscape.  (Hat tip to reader DR for this photo!)

  1. Although the planters look great. Whomever is responsible for choosing the plants has no landscaping background. The plants that they chose are shade plants. Many of the containers are in full sun and the plants will not survive. They should have chosen sun/part sun perennials. What a waste of money!

  3. Buena Park area of Uptown is very nice. The Clark and Wilson area is clean and safe. That liquor store there does not tolerate loitering or sell cheap malt liquor. Quite a contrast to the liquor store near Magnolia.
