Come Celebrate Chicago’s Diversity on World Refugee Day

Since 2002, organizations that provide services to Chicago’s refugee population have commemorated World Refugee Day. Organized events honor the lives of refugees, give a voice to their stories, and raise awareness of the millions of refugees in the world who have been forced to flee their homes.

Join us in celebrating the lives of these resilient individuals on Saturday, June 22nd 12-4pm at the Foster Beach Soccer Fields. There will be a soccer tournament, fun games and entertainment for the entire family, and food. Nearly 300 attendees, along with numerous volunteers, took part in last year’s event. Come be a part of this growing tradition!
