EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION.  The Executive Director is the chief administrator of Business Partners-the Chamber for Uptown, whose mission is to be the primary advocate, voice and support organization for the historic and diverse Uptown business community. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors, and manages the day-to-day operations and staff, in accordance with plans, policies, and standards established by the Board of Directors.  Working closely with Uptown United and its other partner groups on strategic planning and shared goals for the Uptown community, the Executive Director is also the Chamber’s liaison with government agencies, community groups, and businesses.

Position is primarily Monday-Friday, 9-5. Regular evenings and weekends required for events and community meetings.
