Arson At Hong Kong Chef

A reader writes:

"I drove by Hong Kong Chef in the 4100 block of Sheridan at about 1:30 pm today, and the restaurant was roped off with multiple police and fire vehicles outside. According to a neighbor who spoke to police, a man ran inside the restaurant, threw gasoline on the floor, lit it, and ran back out. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished and no one was injured. It was sad to see the Hong Kong Chef owners standing outside their damaged family business, looking shaken and distressed. Police said they were still looking for the suspect."

When this place reopens, we urge UU readers to order from them and help them recoup their losses from this very disturbing incident. We need our mom 'n' pop shops!
