Is The Best "Undiscovered Place" In Chicago In Uptown?

Among our readers are some very talented local photographers (see "Cricket Hill" by Moosh above as an example). Time to show off your work and enter the “What Makes Your Place Great?” photo and video contest taking place this summer.

"You may recall this contest from last year. This year, my organization, the Metropolitan Planning Council, is partnering with the Chicago Architecture Foundation and put a twist on the contest: We’re looking for the best “undiscovered” public places in the entire metropolitan region. The contest is taking submissions through July 26. You can learn more at www.placemakingchicago.com/places."

  1. Cricket Hill, huh? All those years of riding my bike up and down that hill, I never knew it had a name. And that is actually one of my favorite spots in Chicago!!!!

The other is a location called the Seven Hills, in Washington Park. At least I think that's what it's called.

  3. Sheridan Park Girl, if you write to us at the hotmail account, I can forward your contact info to the photographer, who is Moosh, who posts here frequently.
