Dog Day Afternoon At The Local Pub

Friday, January 30, 2009 | |

With so many dog owners in the area, we thought it wise to point out that every Saturday, between 3-6pm, Wild Pug welcomes all well-behaved dogs (along with, presumably, their equally well-behaved owners). Dogs get free treats, owners need to pony up for theirs. Click here for some photos from past events.

Just an FYI: Driftwood allows dogs all the time.

  2. SHammer says:

Driftwood is a hole. Belongs in a trailer park, not Uptown.

Driftwood is just fine and could benefit from more local support. My dog is a handful sometimes, and they still let me bring her...very nice people.

  4. SHammer says:

The folks are nice enough, but the bar lacks character. Comparing recent additions to the 'hood, Fat Cat and Wild Pug put Driftwood to shame. It is a shame so little imagination went into the place.

I was also going to mention, Driftwood is dog friendly and is a fun neighborhood bar!

    SHAMMER,

Not really sure what planet you are from, Driftwood is not a hole.

  6. Jason says:

It is what it is, a neighborhood bar. And the prices are reasonable.

  7. Muriel says:

Well I am very happy to learn this information. My dogs love holes.

  8. Jason says:

And they have fre wifi! My dog likes to surf the net...

Agreed. The Driftwood is certainly not a "hole."
