Broadway And Wilson, 1918

We have posted a few views of Broadway and Wilson from this time period, but this is a different perspective from 1918. The "United Cigar" store on the right is where the infamous currency exchange now stands and on the left is where City Sports now stands. Enjoy.

    I think the white "temple" that's now TCF may be the same building (just to the left of the center of the photo), but the lovely columns on either side are gone.

  2. The white building (now TCF) was once the Wilson Theatre, a vaudeville house. A close-up pic can be found here:
