'Wilde Pug' Update

Tuesday, February 26, 2008 | |

For those of you wondering what was going on with "Wilde Pug," the upcoming bar from the owner's of "Crew," well, a "stop work order" had been issued and progress has ground to a halt. We are happy to report that according to Brian Wells at Crew, the stop work order has been resolved and they hope to have a building permit in hand within the week. After that, work will resume and the goal is to open mid May.

i thought it said it was for the fact that work was not being carried out exactly as stated in initial permit request.

i don't know the address, but it is the between shake, rattle, and read and crew. (those are between the green mill and the uptown marquee, if you don't know the other two establishments)

As a young, homeowner in Uptown, I can't wait for places like this to open. Business continues to perculate North and it's just a matter of time before Schiller's efforts to keep the area down, are overcome by those wanting to move Uptown forward.
